Phullu

When Phullu, and uneducated trader from a small village visits the city, he finds out about the inconveniences caused during menstruation due to lack of access to facilities in the village. Despite public humiliation, and family resistance, Phullu decides to create awareness about the issue, and promote sanitary pads. The film has been praised by critics for its subtle treatment of the issue.
